2Days Of Rest's A Bliss

Often I wonder what a life would be with only a day of rest in a week. Will I stand it? And if ever I will, until when? But what if it's like forever?

Human's never a machine and will never ever be. This, perhaps, is one of which opened the door to that change of mind. This is maybe one of those that made them realize our worth.

For already a year of working six times a week with that ample or no benefit at all, at last voices are heard and prayers are answered. After a long wait of waiting, fact has been considered this time. Now, a 2days of rest at hand.

A 2days of rest in a week is what we surely need and what we only ask them. It's more than just a bliss. You will only not have time to relax but more importantly, you'll have more time for yourself and for your family.

... Employees are part of every management in a certain company. Thus, considering them in every decision is not only necessary but a must, especially if it's them who are directly affected by that decision. And I am just glad the long wait's over.

Another Milestone: The Philippines’ Top 50 Blogs of 2009

Last January 19 of this current calendar year, PinoyMoneyTalk.com released their list of Top 50 Blogs in the Philippines for 2009 which were ranked based on each blog's 3-month Alexa.com traffic rank.

Yes, InSearch4You.com is part of the list and on the 32nd rank. This is indeed a milestone that I should really be proud of considering the fact that there are already hundreds of bloggers in the Philippines and at the same time, there are thousands of blogs available.

Thank you so much. You are all part of this recognition. Way to go guys.

Please click the image below to better see whose blogs made the cut. You may also check PinoyMoneyTalk.com for more info.

Another Two Friendship Tags For Me...

And then again, I have been tagged.

Just recently, I have received another friendship tags from two different bloggers. 'Nisha's Friendship Award' from xgenesis007 of 'Dangerzone' and 'Friendship Flower' from Rocks of 'Through the Rain'. And honestly, I am really grateful for their friendship thoughts and appreciation.

When I started blogging, I never really did think that it would really be possible for me to be noticed by people through my blog though it had been a fact that one of my purpose why I decided to start blogging is to be noticed and eventually gain friends. What I just really wanted before is to blog all the things that inspire me, that concerns me, or that interest me.

Right now, I am happy to know that I am starting to build up a battalion of friends. And I am happy. Yes, I am happy indeed that even just through this simple blog, I was able to inspire and made other people smile.

Like what I have written on one of my post, truly one of the best things about blogging is the spirit of friendship and appreciation. And I am just really grateful for those friends who continue to read and appreciate my blog. You simply inspire me to do better.

Accordingly, the friendship tags I have received act as “FRIENDSHIP OFFERING”... so I am offering these two friendship tags to everybody who's reading this blog or this post right now. I don't want to name or enumerate names since I want to be friend with everybody. This is for you guys. Grab it, for all you know, you surely deserve it!

Again, thank you to xgenesis007 and Rocks. Keep on blogging and continue promoting and spreading friendship around. May God bless us always.

October`s Over... Yes, It`s November

November is the eleventh month of the year in the Gregorian Calendar and one of four Gregorian months with the length of 30 days. From the Latin novem for "nine" (it was originally the ninth month of the year, before January and February were inserted).

Hey guys, it's November! Yes, October's gone and over, and it's only a month now that we're waiting to end the year 2008. I really do have a lot of expectations for this very month. And I am just hoping that somehow this month would be good to me and would be the best month for me for this current year...

As this article would be my very first post for November, I am expecting that this would be a good start for this month. But before anything else, I would like to tell you some of the things that had happened with my blogging experience the previous month.

Just like the other months, October had also been good to me. It's just that I had been prone to sickness during the said month which made it quite hard for me to regularly write a post. But I am still glad that despite of that fact, still I was able to make it and was able to write 34 posts. Yes, 34 posts! And I have joined several bloggers' contest, and was lucky enough to have won one. I've also been busy with several campaigns like the 'Children`s Rights and Welfare' campaign, and thankful that somehow in my own little way, I was able to help. Was also able to join Cebu Bloggers Society - CBS, and I am hoping for more success for the group.

But what's more exciting is the fact that my blog had been recognized, noticed and appreciated by different and/or several people around the globe, and fellow bloggers had even awarded me with some thoughts of appreciation... and continuously coming back for a visit and for any updates. I am just really so thankful for all of you guys who had been good to me. It's very true indeed that one of the best things about blogging is the spirit of friendship and appreciation.

And before I truly say goodbye to October, allow me to thank the following fellow bloggers who had been my TOP EC Droppers for October...

And now that November is truly here, I am just hoping for the best of what this month could offer me. Looking forward for more success in my blogging experience. And looking forward for good future with my job...

Activities or events that I am looking forward this month, as of today:
  • All Saint's Day - Christian holiday. Observance is on November 1, the day after Halloween. Just recently concluded.
  • 2008 US Election - I've been invited by my CBS group to join for the US Election Watch this coming October 5, 2008.
  • Blog Blast For Peace - November 06.
  • Bloggers Unitem, Refugees United - On Nov. 10, all eyes will be on bloggers who will participate in Bloggers Unite For Refugees
  • Americans Thanksgiving holiday on the fourth Thursday of November.
  • Baby Nicoi's 2nd year Birthday - Baby Nicoi happens to be my superisor's cute baby
So, I am really hoping that this would be a good start for this month. Wish me luck!

Is My Blog 'Uber Amazing'?

Is my blog uber amazing? Well I guess it is for you to find out since it is you and only you who shall be the judge.

One of the best things about blogging is the spirit of friendship and appreciation. I really do love reading blogs. It inspires me. It makes me smile, laugh and cry. It gives me amazing information. It keeps me up-to-date or updated with several and different latest happenings around the globe. I continue to learn things from it. Just by simply reading blogs I am entertained. And more than anything, it's one of my greatest hobbies.

I have been blogging for almost two months now, and this 1st of November will actually be my 2nd blog monthsary. For this span of time, I am just really glad that there have been a lot of people or bloggers around who have appreciated my blog and my blog's posts. I am grateful indeed that this blog had helped me gain more friends, be very much visible online, and be recognized by several individuals or groups around.

Just this Monday, October 27, another online blogger and buddy have tagged my blog as one of the 'Uber Amazing' blogs in the blogosphere. And I just really can't believe it... well it's not really that I don't want the award, but I am really just amazed, haha. For my blog to be considered as one of the good blogs around is cool, but for it to be considered as one of the 'uber amazing' is truly amazing!

Thank you so much to Shawie of 'A Grateful Heart' for this overly-amazing award. Thank you so much friend for gracing my blog with inspiring and flattering thoughts of admiration and appreciation. I still can't believe that you considered my blog to be 'uber amazing'. I am currently thinking of what made you decide to choose me for the award. Haha. But again, it is really much appreciated.

Uber (synonym to Super) Amazing Blog Award is a blog award given to sites who:
  • inspires you
  • makes you smile and laugh
  • or maybe gives amazing information
  • a great read
  • has an amazing design
  • and any other reasons you can think of that makes them uber amazing!
The rules of this award are:
  • Put the logo on your blog or post.
  • Nominate at least 5 blogs (can be more) that for you are Uber Amazing!
  • Let them know that they have received this Uber Amazing award by commenting on their blog.
  • Share the love and link to this post and to the person you received your award from.

Now I'm giving this award to the following bloggers who have shared their talents, joys and journeys to the world-wide-web and most especially to me. The Uber Amazing awardees are:
Again, thank you Shawie for the award. And to those whom I have awarded with this 'uber amazing' award, I am just hoping that you'll continue the blogger spirit in you and continue touching other's lives by your blogs. I promise I will do the same.

My Work & I

It's almost two years now since I've joined the company where I am working right now. And it's almost a year now that I've been making or doing calls...

I am really glad I was able to brush off that feeling of bitterness out of my system since I entered this call center industry, and just like what a certain friend have said, I'd rather not elaborate on why this is the case. I'm just glad that I'm not a pessimistic person and that I'm not a constant whiner just like what my other colleagues are. Guess 'twas the best part of why I'm still able to survive the industry and the very reason why I'm still here.

'twas almost two years that I've worked for just one account, and now that I've been transferred to a new account which is really hard, I'm starting to miss it... The script, the call flow, those standard rebuttals, those arguments I've had with my prospects, and everything! I'm just missing everything with my previous account. I'm so used to it that letting go is something that is somehow so unreal. But things really come and go, it's life's nature. Right now, what is best to do is to love what I have... and to love my new account. Who knows, I might love this account even better.

Anyway, everything's okay now. I'm back on track and that zest to perform well during my shifts has resided back in me. I'm more patient now in dealing with every calls I make especially with every potential clients that I get hold on to. I always try not to lose my cool that easily and I actually have to say that I'm very happy with the way things are.

There are a lot of people who have managed to inspire me and of course there are also those who managed to destroy me, and I am just so grateful because they've just helped me to be better. Colleagues who just do their work and never complain, colleagues who have managed to be on top for being so diligent, and supervisors who have been so understanding and supportive are just some of those who have taught me to be positive about things instead of incessantly ranting and complaining.

It's really almost two years now, and I'm just glad I'm still here... surviving what this call center life has to offer me.

It`s A Grateful Sunday!

Oh it`s indeed a grateful sunday! There have been a lot of things and changes that had happened to which I am truly grateful of.

As you may notice, I have been like very busy working on some changes with my blogsite since yesterday. Exactly the reason why somehow there have been some difficulties or inconveniences visiting my site since that day. I`ve even posted an announcement for my visitors to know what`s happening, for I am sure they`re wondering. But I am really glad that I am almost done now, and really proud that my hard work paid off. I`m not a 'techie' person, and making it possible for me alone to do the change with my site is indeed a great fulfillment, and for that, again I`m grateful.

Also, since yesterday my statistics showed the big difference in the numbers of my visitors from the day I`ve started blogging [`twas just last month, actually]. And guess what? The number was doubled! Oh yes, you read it right, `twas doubled and I`m so happy about it. But mind you, I`m not bragging here since I know that there`s really no point of bragging at all, and that`s for sure. This is just to let you know how grateful I am for the changes.

I`m also grateful that I have been selected, or my blogsite rather, have been selected for the first campaign of Nuffnang Philippines which is the 'GM Outdoor LB Campaign'. Add the fact that the said campaign will be running for 2 months period. Wow!

Lastly, I`m also grateful to have received some awards from a fellow blogger, and an online friend as well, named Mabel of 'The Power of Three'. Thank you so much friend for gracing my blog with inspiring and flattering thoughts of admiration and appreciation. I am truly grateful for your awards. And I promise to keep my blog updated and to always post quality and interesting posts for you guys to read. Just keep on visiting my blog, okay? Haha.

By the way, here are the awards I`ve received from Mabel and will be added to my 'Collections of Blog Awards':

And as a tradition, I`m passing these awards to the following bloggers who have somehow inspired me in so many ways to do better with my blog:
Truly it is a grateful Sunday... I`m just grateful of everything...

Now, do I need to say more? Haha.

We Are The CHAMPION!

Yesterday`s Game 2 of the UAAP Men`s Basketball Finals [September 25, 2008] played between Ateneo Blue Eagles and La Salle Green Archers just concluded the UAAP Men`s Basketball Season 71.

With the score of 62-51, Blue Eagles won the Game 2. Thus, making Ateneo bagged the UAAP crown once again.

-----

`twas actually an amazing championship sweep from the Blue Eagles! As they have won the Game 1 last September 21, 2008 and the Game 2 yesterday of the Game-3-Series of Season 71 UAAP Men`s Basketball Finals.

Just like Game 1, yesterday`s Game 2 was extra tight for Ateneo! Blue Eagles really made it sure that they`ll be able to dethrone the Green Archers once and for all. They didn`t give the Archers any chance to manipulate the game. As you may notice, never from Game 1 until Game 2 that La Salle was able to beat the Eagles even just for a quarter.

`twas really an aweful and surprising accomplishment for the Ateneo Blue Eagles! Plus the fact that my idol Chris Tiu proved that he`s still one of Ateneo`s best by gaining 16 points on the Game 2, thus making him the highest pointer. Too bad though that it`s his final year in the league. Anyway, still you did a very good job!

Truly our efforts paid off! Great job fellow ateneans!
