Yes, Life is Really Full of Surprises...

The world we live in consists of order and disorder. The laws of nature are evidence of order. The many laws are so dependable that we often forget about the chaos in our midst. Yet, uncertainty, unpredictability, randomness, the unanticipated and the unexpected are equally enmeshed in our lives. Unfortunately, the words we use to describe chaos evoke negative images such as insecurity and instability.

Sometimes, things don't work out the way we want them to. It's not a perfect world, and there is no script to life that will tell us what to do, and when to do it. And all day long there are surprises waiting, and we can just find ourselves smiling, laughing, or even crying. We can discover a client who appreciates our efforts, a boss that knows our skills, an employee who will go the extra mile for us, a neighbor who offers a hand, or even the other way around.

Life is full of surprises and uncertainties, but we have to roll with all of those things and not let them stop us.

Just yesterday everything seems to be so fine, I and my colleagues at work were like smiling, laughing and dancing all the way. We're even singing out loud our joy for the world to hear us. We had had really fun. And it was really great looking at each other smiles while talking about things related to our life and most especially to our work... Until something unexpected happened...

But then, everyday is an individual day. We do not know what the new day will bring. And it does not mean that if we're happy yesterday then we would still be happy today. Again, life is full of surprises... It just started like an ordinary day to an amazing day or even to a day that one may consider a nightmare.

I started my day of work with a list of phone calls which I had to make. But now, I started it with filing an application for other companies and even taking an interview for a new job. You might be wondering if why this is the case, but I apologize if I won't be able to disclose the real story behind this as of this writing.

NO, it's not what you are thinking, and it is not even bad or good. Thing is, life had just offered me another surprise for another chapter of my life. It is another surprise which somehow I have had anticipated before, yet it's still part of life's reality and of my life's journey.

You don’t want to miss it, do you?

It’s true, life is full of surprises. We never know where and when, but truly there are endless surprises anywhere and everywhere. They can be around any corner just waiting for us… I’m not kidding, you better watch out. It’s waiting and ready to jump out, so let's keep our eyes wide open and look.

Enjoy it. If life is boring to you do something different to jazz up your life. Afterall, life is full of surprises.

And Once Again, I Have Been TAGGED!

"You`ve Been TAGGED"
The rules are...

[1] Link to the person that tagged you, and post the rules on your blog.
[2] Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself.
[3] Tag 7 random people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs.
[4] Let each person know that they`ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

And once again, I have been tagged! Yes, again...But this time it's quite different and kinda weird. I mean, I have been tagged several times already, but this is my first time to have encountered such tag... And I guess I have to comply or else something weird will happen. *kidding, haha. Well who knows, this might end me up into discovering the real 'I' in you...

But first of all, who is this person who have tagged me and the reason behind why he did it? Well, he is actually a recent visitor and it's his first time on my blog... "I found your site on LinkReferral and enjoy reading it. Nice to have some input from other parts of our world" is exactly what he had told me as his reason for choosing my blog to be tagged. Oh boy, I am glad... It is really such a great feeling whenever a certain somebody or a certain blogger appreciates your blog, and honestly, it inspires me to do better... So who is this person? He's none other than Scott McQueen of scottmcqueen.blogspot.com. Thank you so much sir for the compliment and hope you'll visit me often. Haha.

Now, I am about to tell you 7 random and/or weird facts about me. Honestly, I normally don't disclose these facts to anyone and instead, I let them discover this by themselves. But since I am tagged to tell you, then I am telling you. And actually, I do have a lot of things in mind to tell you but since the rule says 7, then be it!... Now before I proceed please be warned not to disclose this to anyone else but you, what you could do instead is to let them visit and read this post and let them learn things from here... And hey, please do carefully read between the lines. So here it goes...
  1. I often talk to myself when I am alone. But hey, I am not autistic, just have the tendency to be one... What can I do, autism is in me. Wahaha.
  2. I honestly think I am not good in English. May it be in writing or in speaking. It has always been one of the lowest marks in my report cards. Hehehe. And about my blog? Most entries were written unconsciously by me... controlling the inner me when I am in my deepest slumber... *toinks!
  3. I am guilty of Gluttony. Yes, I eat a lot and most of the time I find myself hungry even it's a fact that I have just finished a certain meal. My flabby abs and my cravings for almost every edible food available would certainly be solid proofs.
  4. I do my own laundry. Yes. In my almost two-years long stay here in the Cebu City, away from my family and independently living, I can proudly say that there was only this few occurrence that I let 'Lavadahan' (a certain 'Laundry Shop' nearby) did my laundry.
  5. I am a certified crammer in so many ways. There have been countless of times wherein I have been beating the deadliest deadlines when submitting assignments, reports or projects. The creative juices on my mind seem to flow at the very last minute!
  6. I am a nature lover at heart. Of which adventure trips on remote places, trekking, sight seeing and the like would be on top of my things-to-do lists. The alluring sunset, the captivating blue lake, the unusual earthlings, the vast sea horizon, the twinkling stars on a clear night sky, the burning hue on every dusk, and the colorful rainbow... All of nature's wonders are just dreamlike!
  7. And lastly, My Family and God are the center of my life and my being. I may be a black sheep or people might say that I am a devil in disguise, but yes, I love my family and I love God so much that without them, I don't know what will surely happen to me. I just can't afford losing any of them... My faith for God and my love for my family are the two reasons why I keep on living and I continue to face the challenges of this what they call life.
Phew, I am about to add more... but then again, the rule says 7! Maybe some other time or perhaps I will just try to write a post about it next time.

And before I forget, here are my chosen 7 to be tagged! For sure, the reason why I chose them is because I find them and their blog very interesting, and yes, I am hoping to learn or to know more about these guys...
  1. Angie Atkinson of In Pursuit of Fulfillment
  2. Mabel of The Power of Three
  3. Fransiska Ike of Destiny
  4. Mariz of Reflections by Mariz
  5. Shawie of A Greatful Heart
  6. Enday of Kwento ni Enday
  7. Kumagcow of Kumagcow - The Goodlooking Guy on His Journey
At last I'm done with this 'tagging' thing! Have a wonderful day everyone...

Another Global Phenomenon?

Around 2:00AM [Philippine Standard Time] when I have received a message which stated:

"Coming October 17, 2008, the sun will rise continously for 36 hours (1.5 days). During this time, the US countries will be dark for 1.5 days. It will convert 3 days into 2 big days. It will happen once in 2,400 years. We're very lucky to see this. This is a global phenomenon... Courtesy of CNN/BBC News..Mark ur calendars now n pass 2 relatives n frends ..."

Again, `twas 2:00AM when I`ve received this weird message and I was like in the state of shock and in big doubt. I`ve even asked myself if the message is a joke. I just really doubt about it`s validity especially that knowing the fact that if it`s truly a global phenomenon then it should be otherwise forecasted and already been in the news for a week now or so. But hey, I`ve never heard of it, never even heard about it on the news... and why all of a sudden come this message which is like 'rushing' just to let us all know about it. It`s really just so weird, isn`t it? So if you`re just witty enough then you`d surely doubt it.

And hey, to give further credence to the text, supposed source were CNN and BBC News! Uh~uh, how clever!

`twas really a 'ridiculous notion' and you may consider this totally a fiction. I guess the man behind this is really so damn happy right now knowing that his 'work' continously spreads around the metro and reaching almost everybody in this whole wide world. I salute him for that, he`s definitely the man! Yea boy, you`re the man! Haha.

Yet another fact is that, here in the Philippines, the transfer of the message from one sender to another translated into added revenues for the country's different telecommunication companies. I wonder if they`re part of this, but need to immediately disclose the idea since I don`t wanna have trouble here. LOL.

I have actually search the web for further details or any information about this, and I`ve even search this from those supposed sources of the news, but what I`ve got is nothing. Nothing! Yea, you read it right... completely nothing. So if it`s really a phenomenon, then how come that `twas not even reported on the news the way `twas stated on the message.

It`s so clear that there is really no such "rising sun" phenomenon that would come this Friday. It`s false and considered to be purely fiction. Yet at the rate the rumor has spread from India, to the Bahamas, from all over the US to the Philippines, and from here to the world, the rumor itself was what has seemingly become the real global phenomenon.

Yea, `twas just a joke afterall! Such a waste of time!
